Privacy Policy
Tekbrium is built on a simple principle: your data belongs to you.
What We Collect
Nothing. Tekbrium does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data on external servers. All estimation entries, calibration data, daily scores, and settings remain on your Mac.
No Accounts
Tekbrium does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the app. Open it and start using it.
No Analytics
We do not use any analytics SDKs, tracking pixels, or third-party services that monitor your behavior. We do not know how you use the app, how often you open it, or what you estimate.
No Advertising
Tekbrium contains no advertisements and no advertising SDKs. We do not share data with advertisers because we have no data to share.
Calendar Access
Tekbrium reads your calendar via Apple's EventKit framework in read-only mode. Calendar data is processed locally to compute your Maker Score and is never transmitted externally. The app never creates, modifies, or deletes calendar events.
Jira Integration (Optional)
If you choose to connect Jira, Tekbrium uses read-only OAuth 2.0 access to fetch your assigned tickets. Jira credentials are stored in your macOS Keychain. The app never writes to or modifies your Jira data.
Purchases
Tekbrium is sold through two channels. In both cases, ELSI Holdings LLC does not process payments directly and does not have access to your payment information.
- Mac App Store: Purchases are processed by Apple. Apple's Privacy Policy governs payment data.
- Direct (tekbrium.app): Purchases are processed by Paddle.com, our Merchant of Record. Paddle's Privacy Policy governs payment and order data collected at checkout.
Data Storage
All app data is stored locally on your Mac using Apple's standard on-device storage (SwiftData/SQLite). If you delete the app, your data is deleted. We cannot recover it because we never had it.
Third-Party Services
Tekbrium does not integrate with any third-party services that collect user data during normal app use. The only external communications are: (1) Apple's Mac App Store or Paddle.com at point of purchase, and (2) Jira Cloud if you optionally connect it. Neither service has access to your estimation data, Maker Scores, or calibration history.
Children's Privacy
Tekbrium does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under 13.
Changes to This Policy
If we ever change this policy, we will update this page and note the effective date. Given our architecture — no data collection, no accounts, no analytics — we do not anticipate material changes.
